Sexual and reproductive health

Introduction

Taking care of your sexual health means more than being free from sexually transmissible infections (STIs) or not having to face an unplanned pregnancy. It means taking responsibility for your body, your health, your partner’s health and your decisions about sex.

Effectively managing your sexual and reproductive health contributes to your overall health and well-being. In these pages you can find information on planning or preventing a pregnancy and preventing or treating sexually transmitted infections including HIV, accessing sexual assault centres, and abortion services;
