Are you under the age of 24 and providing care and support to someone - maybe a parent, brother, sister or other relative? Support is available for you through Hillingdon Young Carers.
5-11 years – young carers can take advantage of after-school and Saturday clubs, trips, residential visits and a full school holiday activity programme
11- 17 years – in addition to young carer clubs, trips, residential visits and school holiday activities, you can also get help and support to manage your caring role and to make plans for what happens next after school
Young Carers Plus is a project for all ages that is specifically aimed at young people who are affected by parents', sibling or other relative's alcohol or substance misuse. You can get emotional support and help to manage at home, as well as social opportunities through clubs, trips and residential visits
17 - 24 years – you can get specialist support to make the transition from school to whatever comes next. You can get help to plan your future and support, advice and information about applying for jobs, moving home, apprenticeships and further education.
